Mixing education and entertainment has become a necessity to cope with the digital age, especially for kids who highly need to be engaged in the learning environment from behind the screen.

Notting Hill College Turkey is running an intensive short course, for 15 hours to help everyone interested in working with kids, to create visual storytelling helping in educating and raising kids in an effective manner.

The course focuses on: 

• Defining the appropriate content creation for kids, to captivate their attention and discover the challenging world of visually communicating with children.

• Turning the knowledge into videos and illustrations by using innovative techniques. 

• Tackling the specific world of visual storytelling. From news and information to entertainment and education. 

• The core principles of visual design from a human centred approach, to suit a young audience.  

• Producing visual stories and learning content to fulfil the young learners needs.

• The significance of “Edutainment” in smoothing education and supporting teaching by implementing new technologies.
